Bird Seed Snowman

Bird Seed Snowman

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. And even if it doesn’t, you can still have a snowman in your garden that will be adored by your feathered friends.

It may look complicated but underneath all that delicious bird seed it’s really quite simple. Foam balls are held together with a wooden dowel that have been smeared with peanut butter and covered with bird seed. If you or your kids are allergic to nuts you could use lard or melted suet instead.

The brim of the hat can be filled with all sorts of bird food including kitchen scraps. And once Christmas is over you can simply clean and store it ready for next year.
