These festive bird feeders are made from recycled milkshake bottles. They are so simple to make and a great activity for your kids to get involved with over the Christmas season.
Permanent marker pens are used to decorate the empty bottles which are then cut at the bottom to create seed ports.
A plastic lid is used to create a seed tray which is attached to the bottom of the bottle. Drill two holes in the lid of the bottle and thread through some twine or pretty ribbon. The feeder can then be filled with bird seed, before replacing the lid and hanging from a tree or brand in your garden.
